After years of building my own fictional universes—from music to interactive media to a soon-to-be-published 172,000-word novel—I’ve decided to open up a small portion of my practice to narrative collaboration and localization work, especially in the context of independent game development.
I’ve always believed that narrative is not just about words on screen, but the tone, cadence, and inner music of a world. Whether it’s through a melodic motif or a quietly resonating line of dialogue, I strive to create worlds that feel lived-in, emotionally legible, and linguistically sound.
Now that my debut novel is heading to publication (written in traditional Chinese, self-edited), I’ve found myself wanting to reconnect with the textual side of my creative work. I’m offering select services in the following areas:
All projects are scoped carefully and priced to reflect sustainable solo practice. I'm open to one-off contracts and longer collaborations.
While I offer localization, I don’t operate like an agency or studio. My strength lies in small-scale, narrative-rich, indie contexts—especially those where music, art direction, and writing are in dialogue with one another. If you're looking for someone who understands worldbuilding from both a composer’s and a writer’s lens, I’d love to hear from you.
